Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) Readiness Study
A Quick Study – Planning for the Arrival of Connected and Automated Vehicles
In the not too distant future, connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) will arrive and share public roads throughout Central Florida. To prepare for their introduction and adoption, Global-5 hosted public involvement workshops for MetroPlan Orlando to evaluate what this may mean for the region’s roads and transit agencies, and also to provide a CAV knowledge base for increasing MetroPlan Orlando’s planning expertise.
