The year is only half over and already Global-5 has earned six national awards that recognize the work we complete on behalf of our clients.
We proudly brought home a 2023 Communicator Award of Excellence for our video, produced in consultation with Noblis, about the US Department of Transportation’s ITS4US program. The video highlights the specific challenges some travelers face when trying to get from point A to point B, and how transportation agencies can develop and deploy mobility solutions that meet travelers’ needs. This same video received a Gold Merit Award for Visual Storytelling from the 2023 Merit Awards program.
Global-5 received a 2023 Communicator Award of Distinction in recognition of its “rethink Your Commute” marketing campaign. reThink Your Commute, an initiative of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), helps people find healthy, affordable, and sustainable commute options. The Global-5 team used video, social media, and creative collateral to highlight vanpools, a commuter rental van that offers cost savings and environmental benefits.
Global-5’s efforts on reThink Your Commute were also recognized with a 2023 Travel Choices Marketing Excellence Award for its retro-style artwork. We managed the multi-channel marketing and distribution of unique promotional materials (including shopping bags) that feature the innovative design. We also produced a video profiling Orlando artist Kelly Williams-Cramer.
Global-5’s work with the I-4 Ultimate project, the largest highway infrastructure project in Florida history, continues to win awards. Our “I-4 Ultimate: Concept to Concrete” video earned a 28th Annual Gold Viddy Award from one of the oldest, largest, and most respected awards programs in the video industry.
Finally, Global-5 was part of the I-4 Ultimate team to receive a 2023 Outstanding Project Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Florida, which honors achievements in accomplishing FDOT studies and projects. The I-4 Ultimate Improvement Project collected its honor in the Outstanding Design-Build category.
