Global-5 implemented a statewide media campaign during Older Driver Safety Awareness Week for the Safe Mobility for Life Program and Coalition to increase awareness and use of its program resources for improving the driving safety, access to transportation and mobility of Florida’s aging population in Florida.
We helped the Safe Mobility for Life Coalition organize and host safety and mobility events for older drivers in Tampa and Orlando, and also produced news releases, social media content and schedules and a video PSA for distribution to broadcast outlets, Florida licensing offices and the Florida Turnpike.
We developed and launched a landing page on the Safe Mobility for Life Coalition’s website for downloading coalition materials that target not only older adults, but also their families and caregivers, health professionals and law enforcement officers. In addition to this, we distributed a promotional toolkit to hundreds of partners throughout Florida.
The coalition’s event achieved significant performance increases over the previous year and expanded media coverage in both event markets, including a segment on the SiriusXM Doctor Radio Channel.
