(Aug. 19, 2014) \u2014 Achieving one of its highest honors, Global-5 Communications\u2019 statewide marketing campaign for the Florida Department of Transportation\u2019s (FDOT) 511 Traveler Information System has been selected as a nominee in the Best of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Awards.<\/p>\n

Florida 511 will be in the running for the category of Best New Innovative Practice \u2013 Outreach, and winners will be announced in September at the World Congress in Detroit. The Best of ITS Awards honors the most innovative, effective and influential achievements in the ITS industry.<\/p>\n
