Orlando, Fla., July 9, 2013 – Global-5 Communications was named a Bronze Telly Award winner in the 34th Annual Telly Awards for a video produced for the West Virginia 511 Traveler Information System. Honored in the online information category, the award-winning video demonstrates how West Virginia residents and visitors can use the recently launched 511 system to get updates on road conditions for everyday commutes and critical travel information when winter weather strikes the Mountain State.

Global-5 was selected as a Telly Award Winner out of nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries. The 2013 award marks the seventh Telly Award presented to Global-5. The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments in the world.
